FAIENCE. Egyptian. Late Dynastic Period. 664-332 BCE. (30 mm wide x 110 mm tall). A molded shabti in faience represents a servant with head scarf and false beard, arms crossed in mummiform holding a flail and crook. On the back, a long bar extends from the top of the back to the feet. On the front, a T-bar of hieroglyphics present. Light deposits. Very attractive. |
