Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (22.5mm, 3.25 g, 8h). ‘C’ mint. IMP CARAVSIVS P F AVG, radiate and draped bust right / VI RT AVG, Carausius on horseback galloping right, thrusting spear into fallen enemy on knees with hands extended to lower right; C. RIC V –. Green patina, roughness, cleaning scratches. Near VF. Unpublished and possibly unique.
