AYT KAIC Λ CEΠ CEYH ΠЄPT CЄB, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / KΩPYKIΩTΩN AYTONOMΩN, Aphrodite Euploia standing left on forepart of prow, holding apluster and scepter. SNG BN –; SNG Levante –; Mionnet, Suppl. VI, p. 205, 223. Red-brown patina with green highlights. Near VF. Extremely rare and the third known; see Berk BBS 178, lot 133 for the other sold specimen (hammer $600 in 2012).
