Constantine I. As Caesar, AD 306-309. Æ Follis (26mm, 6.46 g, 6h). Londinium (London) mint. Struck circa November-December AD 307. Laureate and cuirassed bust right / Mars, helmeted and wearing military attire, lunging left, holding olive branch, spear, and shield; PLN. RIC VI 94; RML 205 (forthcoming); C&T 5.03.008. Toned trace silvering and dark brown patina, slight porosity. Near EF. Extremely rare. Perhaps the finest known.
