Struck circa 1205-1230. + LЄ RЄI WILA, crowned head left; scepter to left / + hЄNRI LЄ RVS, voided short cross; stars in quarters (4 stars of 6 points). Jones & Sugden dies I/14 and pl. 34, I and 14 (this coin illustrated); Burns –; cf. SCBI 35 (Ashmolean & Hunterian), 77-8 (for similar); SCBC 5031. Lightly toned, flan cracks, areas of weak strike. Near VF. Rare. Interesting obverse die with prominent ‘lantern’ jaw.
