POTTERY. Roman. 2nd -3rd Cent. CE. (100 mm tall x 60 mm wide). A flask in the shape of unguentaria with flattened base and bulbous body extending into a long, skinny neck. The lip is flared and extends out from the neck. Some red slip applied over the vessel, a light application over all of the body, now worn away in spots with a thicker application applied to the lip and upper neck. Some deposits. Minor loss at lip, otherwise intact. |
