Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (20.5mm, 2.97 g, 12h). Contemporary imitation. Imitating an official issue of the uncertain mint, circa AD 286-circa 293. Radiate and draped bust right / Pax standing left, holding olive branch and vertical scepter; S|C//–. Cf. RIC V 476 (for official issue). Dark green patina, overstruck. Good VF. Overstruck on what appears to be an official uncertain antoninianus.
