Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (24mm, 4.01 g, 6h). Uncertain mint. IMP C CARAVSIVS P F I AVG, radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / PA X AVG, Pax standing left, holding olive branch and transverse scepter; S|C//–. Cf. RIC V 487-8 (for similar issues). Toned trace silvering and dark olive green-brown patina, reverse slightly off center, slight weakness on reverse. EF.
