Struck circa 1163-1188, or later. + BOAIIVIIDVS (sic), bust left, wearing Norman helmet decorated with cross pattée and chainmail coif; crescent to left, pellet to right; double barred A with pellet at each end; three bar S with pellets / + A(TT)IOCNIA (sic), cross pattée; crescent in second quarter; ; double barred A with pellet at each end. Metcalf, Crusades 427; cf. CCS 78a (Bohémond IV). Deposit on reverse. Good VF. Very rare with pellet instead of star.
