Head of Athena Parthenos right, wearing single-pendant earring and triple crested Attic helmet decorated with Pegasos and floral pattern / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; magistrates’ names across field; to right, forepart of lion right; [letter on amphora]; all within wreath. Cf. Thompson 394d (same obv. die); HGC 4, 1635. Toned, some thick find patina remaining, porosity, light scratches. Good Fine. |
