IONIA, Phokaia. Circa 625/0-522 BC. EL Hekte – Sixth Stater (9.5mm, 2.60 g). Head of river-god as androcephalic bull left; to right, seal downward / Quadripartite incuse square. Bodenstedt Em. 16; Traité II 2094; Triton XII, lot 295. A few light scratches. Near EF. Very rare, only the Traité example cited by Bodenstedt (in Paris), and seven in CoinArchives.
