GAUL, Southern. Allobroges. Circa 75-60 BC. AR Quinarius (15mm, 1.98 g, 12h). Helmeted head of Roma right; DVRNACVS to right / Horseman galloping right, holding spear; [D]ONNVS below. Van der Wielen Type 5i; Depeyrot, NC I, 106; D&T 3159; CCCBM II 277-83. Toned with light iridescence, minor marks. Near EF. Well centered on a large flan, a superb specimen of the type.
