Head of young Dionysos right, wearing ivy wreath with small M between the grape bunches above his brow / Dionysos standing half-left, holding grapes and narthex stalks; monograms flanking. Schönert-Geiss 1039–40 var. (V23/R– [unlisted rev. die]); SNG Fitzwilliam 1732 (same obv. die). Lightly toned. In NGC encapsulation 6557272-006, graded Ch XF, Strike: 4/5, Surface: 3/5.
