THRACO-MACEDONIAN REGION, Uncertain. 5th century BC. AR Tetrobol (13mm, 2.95 g). Euboic-Attic standard. Warrior, brandishing spear, on horseback, riding right / Quadripartite incuse square. Tzamalis –; HPM pl. XII, 10–2 (Bisalti); SNG ANS 1014; Boston MFA 848 = Warren 1393 (Kardia?). Deeply toned, a little off center, slight porosity. VF. Rare.

While the mint of this coinage is currently unknown, its Euboic-Attic standard suggests a mint in the Chalkidike or the Thracian Chersonesos, both of which had mints that employed that standard in the 5th century BC.
