CILICIA, Seleucia ad Calycadnum. Gordian III, with Tranquillina. AD 238-244. Æ (37mm, 21.11 g, 6h). Struck AD 241-244. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gordian right, seen from behind vis-à-vis draped bust of Tranquillina left, wearing stephane; c/m: annulet within Δ / Laureate and draped bust of Apollo right, laurel branch behind vis-à-vis draped and turreted bust of Artemis-Tyche left, cornucopia behind. RPC VII.2 2884.5 (this coin); SNG BN 1034 (same obv. die); SNG Levante 776 var. (placement of Apollo and Artemis). For c/m: Howgego 670. Green patina with dusty orange overtones, rough reverse. VF. Rare with Tyche on the right.
