SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Philip II. As Caesar, AD 244-247. BI Tetradrachm (26.5mm, 12.30 g, 7h). Struck AD 247. Radiate and draped bust right, seen from the front / Eagle standing left, with wings displayed, holding wreath in beak; ANTIOXIA/S C in two lines in exergue. McAlee 1031; RPC VIII Online –; Prieur 410. Toned over residual luster, traces of find patina, some flatness. Near EF. Extremely rare, possibly the second known. Neither McAlee or Prieur have an image of this type in their plates.
