Commodus. AD 177-192. AR Denarius (16mm, 3.22 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck AD 184. Laureate head right / Bonus Eventus standing left, sacrificing out of patera over lighted and garlanded altar and holding grain ears. RIC III 92; MIR 18, 638-4/30; RSC 459. Toned, small pit on obverse, a few hard, green deposits on reverse. Good VF. Bold portrait.
