The central vignette shows Sergeants Jasper and Newton freeing American prisoners in December 1778 who were slated for execution for treason against the Crown. Sergeant William Jasper was an unsung hero of the Revolutionary War. An attractive green and black note with red serial number on crisp and bright paper.
