Facing lion scalp / Forepart of bull right; APIΣTHIΔHΣ above, olive branch to left, ΣA and monogram below; all within shallow incuse square. Barron Class X, 135–6 var. (unlisted dies); HGC 6, 1218; Hecatomnus 15. Lightly toned, underlying luster, a couple of tiny flan flaws on reverse. Good VF. Well centered on a broad flan. Very rare magistrate, only three noted by Barron, two in CoinArchives. |
