Wreathed head of Philetairos right / Athena enthroned left, elbow resting on shield to right, crowning dynastic name with wreath; transverse spear in background, ivy leaf to outer left, monogram to inner left, bow to right. Westermark Group IVA, dies LIII/R1; SNG BN 1611 (same obv. die); BMC 35 (same dies). Toned, horn silver, porosity, scrapes in field on obverse. Near EF. |
