FL ANNIBALIANO REGI, Bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Euphrates reclining right, leaning on scepter, urn at side; reed in background; CONS. RIC VII 145; LRBC 1035 note. Dark brown patina, light porosity. Near EF. Very rare. A far rarer type for Hanniballianus without an officina and with a different spelling of the name than is usually encountered. Likely the first issue for Hanniballianus. R4 in RIC and only five in CoinArchives. Among the finest known for this difficult type.
