1) THRACE, Serdica. Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. Æ Pentassarion (28mm, 11.57 g, 12h). T. Statilius Barbarus, legatus Augusti pro Praetore Thraciae. Struck AD 196-198. [AYT] K Λ CЄ Π CЄY[HPOC ΠЄPTIN], laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / HΓM C TA BAPBA [CЄP]ΔΩN, river-god Oiskos reclining left, holding branch, resting elbow on urn from which water flows. H&J, Serdica 12.14.32.1 corr. (obv. legend); Ruzicka, Serdica –; Varbanov 1943. Green patina, roughness, minor deposits. Good Fine. Very rare.

AYT K M AYP CEYH ANTΩNEINOC, laureate head right / River-god Hebrus reclining left, head right, holding branch and resting hand on urn from which water flows. Laureate and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind, wearing aegis on back / River-god Hebrus reclining left, head right, holding branch and resting hand on urn from which water flows.
