ROMAN. Provincial. Lot of three (3) River-god themed provincial coins, Cilicia. Includes:

1) CILICIA, Mallus. Domitian. AD 81-96. Æ (22mm, 6.39 g, 1h). Laureate head right / Tyche seated right on rocks, holding grain ears; two river-gods Pyramos swimming left and right below. RPC II 1738.2 = L&K 1543A (this coin); SNG BN –; SNG Levante 1271. Red-green patina, roughness. Near Fine. Ex Henry Clay Lindgren Collection.

2) CILICIA, Mallus. Macrinus. AD 217-218. Æ (33mm, 18.50 g, 6h). Dated CY 284 (AD 217). AYTOK KAI MAP OΠEΛ CЄYHP MAKPЄINON CЄ, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / MAΛ IEP ΠOΛ ΘЄOY AMΦIΛOXOY; ЄT ΔΠC (date) in exergue, Tyche seated left on rocks, holding grain ears, crowned by Amphilochus standing left, at left, Athena standing facing holding spear; below boar and two river-gods Pyramos swimming in opposite directions. Unpublished. Peus 378, lot 1105. Red-brown patina, thick deposits, smoothing. Near Fine. Very rare.

3) CILICIA, Corycus. Geta. As Caesar, AD 198-209. Æ (20mm, 4.99 g, 6h). Λ CЄΠT ΓЄTAC, bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / KΩPY AYTO, harbor-god reclining left, holding rudder, left hand on anchor below. Unpublished. Brown patina, light roughness. Good Fine. Very rare. Ex Pegasi Numismatics inventory number 9956686. For Lot: Near Fine-Fine. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS. Three (3) coins in lot.
