THESSALY, Pharsalos. Mid-late 5th century BC. AR Hemidrachm (14.5mm, 2.97 g, 9h). Helmeted head of Athena right / Head of horse right within incuse square. Lavva 13 (V9/R10); BCD Thessaly II 662.1 (same dies); HGC 4, 630 (same dies as illustration). Toned, granular surfaces, die break and minor doubling on reverse. Near VF.
