SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Hostilian. As Caesar, AD 250-251. BI Tetradrachm (24mm, 13.24 g, 7h). 7th officina. Bareheaded and draped bust right, seen from the front; Z below / Eagle standing left on palm frond, with wings displayed, holding wreath in beak; S C in exergue. McAlee 1160e; RPC IX 1765; Prieur 652. Lightly toned, porosity, trace deposits. Good VF. Extremely rare, only 2 cited by Prieur, two examples in CoinArchives (The most recet, in similar grade, hammered for $1,400).
