Maximinus I. AD 235-238. Æ Dupondius (23mm, 11.72 g, 12h). Rome mint. 3rd emission, late AD 236-237. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Salus seated left, feeding out of patera a serpent coiled around and rising from altar, resting arm on side of chair. RIC IV 86; BMCRE 178. Dark green patina, smoothed, rub on the high points resulting in brassy highlights. Near VF.
