GERMANY, Third Reich. 1933-1945. Cast Tin Plated Zinc Medal (36mm, 13.21 g, 12h). Dated 1939. INSELN GIBT ES KEINE MEHR – UND DAS LÜGEN RÄCHT SICH SEHR, figure (representing Great Britain), standing knee-deep in English Channel, holding hand on head in despair with squadrons of planes above, and periscopes below; behind, Jew peering around at money bag inscribed £; date to right / British soldier standing right, striking Arab with butt of rifle, while Arab house smolders in background. Kushner –; see Möller 63, lot 3412 (for another example). Toned, minor surface flaws. As made.
