Laureate and cuirassed bust right, seen from the front, aegis on left shoulder, gorgoneion on breastplate / Macrinus driving triumphal quadriga right, holding reigns and raising right hand in salute, led by soldier carrying a vexillum over his shoulder, trophy with captives above. HH&J, Nikopolis 8.23.34.2; AMNG 1712; Varbanov 3405. Dark green patina, light smoothing. Near VF. Rare with a complex reverse scene.
