Laureate and draped bust right / Tall conical fountain (the Meta Sudans) set on base, statues set within alternating squared and arched recesses. Johnson & Martini –; Klawans –; Burkart –. Dark brown patina, light scratches. Good VF. Extremely rare, unpublished in the standard references on Paduan-era medallions. Lot includes a David R. Sear Certificate of Authenticity.
