Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; bee in left field; below throne, monogram above M. Price 3620a; Waggoner Issue II, Series 1, dies 37/– (unlisted rev. die). Underlying luster, slightly off center, minor die wear on obverse. Good VF.

Ex Classical Numismatic Group 87 (18 May 2011), lot 349.

The entry for Price 3620 notes a strut on the throne separating the monogram and letter M, but not all examples have this feature. In fact, Price illustrates two examples, one with (3620b) and one without (3620a) the strut.
