ITALY, Papal (Papal state). Alexander III. 1159-1181. PB Bulla – Seal (39mm, 46.32 g, 1h). Bare heads of Sts. Paul and Peter, facing slightly right and left, respectively, each within beaded halo; cruciform scepter between: S PA S PE above / ALЄ/XANDER/ PP III. Serafini 1-4. Light brown surfaces, roughness, scrapes and marks. Near VF. Lot also includes a postcard from the 1903 I Summi Pontefici Cartoline Postale Illustrate series.
