EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN/AEGEAN. Roman Imperial Period. Cast PB Libra Weight (62x87mm, 347.00 g, 12h). Large A within right angled linear and pelleted frame / Blank. Cf. Qedar, Gewichte IV p. 28 (for heavier standard; 2nd century AD); Hendin, Ancient –, but cf. 280 (same). Dark gray patina, with some encrustation, small hole going all the way through. VF. Overall height and weight include suspension loop originally cast into weight.
