Aurelian. AD 270-275. Denarius (18mm, 3.28 g, 12h). Rome mint. 11th emission, early-September AD 275. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Victory advancing left, holding wreath and palm frond; to left, bound captive seated left, head right; R. RIC V Online 1839; RIC V 73 var. (mint mark); BN 237. Toned near complete silvering, flan crack, some porosity. Good VF. Far less common than the examples with officinae rather than the R mint mark.
