THRACE, Byzantium. Diadumenian. As Caesar, AD 217-218. Æ Tetrassarion (23.5mm, 7.49 g, 6h). Bareheaded and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Galley under sail left. Schönert-Geiss, Byzantion 1643 (V151/R311); Varbanov 1443. Glossy green patina, minor deposits, cleaning marks and scratches, reverse off center. VF. Superior to the Schönert-Geiss plate coin.
