THRACE, Perinthus. Nero. AD 54-68. Æ Pentassarion (33mm, 25.45 g, 1h). Laureate head left / ΠEPIN/ΘIΩN in two lines within oak wreath. Schönert, Perinthos 234; RPC 1754; Varbanov 20. Green patina with traces of earthen overtones, minor smoothing in fields, slight roughness. VF. Of fine style.
