PHRYGIA, Laodicea ad Lycum. Elagabalus. AD 218-222. Æ Medallion (45mm, 49.88 g, 6h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Elagabalus standing left, wearing military attire, holding small statue of Zeus and spear, crowned by eagle above; captives at his feet on either side. RPC VI Online 5498.3 (this coin). Brown patina, roughness, small scrape on obverse. Near VF. Very rare, only three known to RPC including this coin.
