CILICIA, Tarsus. Balbinus. AD 238. Æ (34mm, 26.81 g, 6h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Balbinus on horseback right, wearing military attire, thrusting spear at lion below. RPC VII.2 3003; SNG BN 1630 (same dies); SNG Levante Suppl. 280 (same dies). Brown patina, light porosity. Near VF. Very rare, only four in CoinArchives.
