Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Tyche, turreted, seated left on rock, holding rudder and cornucopia; to left, Marsyas standing right, wineskin over his shoulder and presenting wreath to Tyche, star between them; below, river-god swimming left, looking right. Meyer, Laodikeia H; RPC VI Online 8170; BMC 104. Brown patina with red earthen highlights, light porosity. VF. Very rare, only four known to RPC, none in CoinArchives, this finer than any recorded in RPC. |
