Low Countries. Circa late 15th Century AD. Leaf (3.86”x5.00”). Medieval Book of Hours. Illuminated leaf containing prayers. With simple decoration around capital letters. From a prayer book worthy of someone of modest means for the time. Gold, red, and blue illumination. Ink intact. Some browning. Tiny tears at edge. One small hole. Slight fading. Faint spacing markings visible. Old code penciled in at lower margin. VF.
