France. Circa AD 1415. Leaf (4.49”x5.95”). Medieval Book of Hours. Illuminated leaf containing prayers. With simple floral decoration and illumination around capital letters. From a prayer book worthy of someone of some means for the time. Gold, red, blue, and white illumination. Ink intact. Minor browning and tiny tears at edge, a couple of pinholes, some fading, faint spacing markings visible, old price and code penciled in at margin. VF.
