Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Statues of Artemis, drawing arrow from quiver at shoulder and holding bow, and Marnas, holding uncertain object, within distyle temple with pellet in pediment; Marnas symbol between figures, ΘΛC (date) to right of temple. RPC IV.3 3786; Rosenberger 120 var. (date); Sofaer 151 (same recut date). Green-brown surfaces, roughness, obverse scrape. Near VF. The date is recut with the Θ over an H, the die was originally used under Marcus Aurelius.. |
