THRACE, Deultum. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ Tetrassarion (24mm, 7.59 g, 7h). Struck circa AD 240. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Two military standards topped with aquila. Draganov 1415a (O101/R114); Jurukova, Deultum –; RPC VII.2 859; Varbanov 2807. Brown patina, light porosity, reverse die break. Near VF. Extremely rare, seemingly the second known – both from the same dies.
