M. Plaetorius M.f. Cestianus. 57 BC. AR Denarius (16.5mm, 3.88 g, 6h). Rome mint. Draped bust of Ceres(?) right; rod(?) to left / Capis and lighted torch. Crawford 405/4a; Sydenham 804; Plaetoria 7b; RBW 1451. Toned, reverse somewhat off center, minor die wear, trace die rust, bankers’ marks, light hairlines under tone. Good VF.
