Made circa 1870. 1854 D 10 Centimes, altered to depict Napoléon in a Prussian shako. On reverse, the eagle altered to have the facing head of an owl. Collignon, Guerre p. 56 note. Brown surfaces, once cleaned, now retoning. Near VF.
