POTTERY. Magna Graecia. 6th-4th Cent. BCE. (155 mm tall x 50 mm wide). A lekythos with flat foot, large body that tapers abruptly at shoulder into a long, stretched neck. Lip is flattened, high handle extends from lip to shoulder. Central strip of wavy pattern on body, high at shoulder. On shoulder, a row of stars. Much of handle missing. Nice patina. |
