Northern France, Paris. AD 1522. Leaf (5.71”x4.80”). Medieval Book of Hours. Leaf from an early printed book of hours containing prayers in Latin (in black ink) with instructions in French (in red ink). Attractive gold, blue, red, and white illumination. Ink well intact. Slight browning and a few minor tears at edge, one wrinkle, small old price code penciled in. Good VF.
