MYSIA, Kyzikos. Circa 450-330 BC. EL Hekte – Sixth Stater (11.5mm, 2.72 g). Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Quadripartite incuse square. Cf. Von Fritze I 104 (unlisted denomination); cf. Boston MFA 1527 (myshemihekte); cf. SNG BN 289 (stater); Hurter & Liewald II –. Edge split, scrapes and scratches. VF. Extremely rare as a hekte, unpublished in the standard references, only two in CoinArchives.
