Constantine VII Porphyrogenitus, with Romanus II. 913-959. AV Solidus (19.5mm, 4.37 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. Struck 945-959. Nimbate facing bust of Christ Pantokrator, raising hand in benediction and holding Gospels; three pellets in each arm of nimbus / Crowned facing busts of Constantine, wearing loros, and Romanus, wearing chlamys, together holding patriarchal cross between them. DOC 15; Füeg 15.D; SB 1751. Toned, a few scratches mostly under tone. Good VF.
