PHOENICIA, Aradus. Macrinus. AD 217-218. BI Tetradrachm (27mm, 12.51 g, 12h). Laureate bust right, slight drapery / Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings displayed, holding wreath in beak; between legs, bull’s head right. Prieur 1242 corr. (bust). Minor marks, traces of find patina, reverse struck slightly off center. VF. Very rare, four known to Prieur, four in CoinArchives.
