Stone Seal. Sassanian Empire. 224 BC - 651 CE. (26 mm.) Brown Chalcedony. An O type stamp seal with central piercing for suspension. On the face, a bust of a bearded man facing left, over a set of wings. To either side, a crescent moon and a star. Göbl 115a. Some light granularity around stone outside of the seal design.
